Soule Park Golf Course is a municipal golf course at 1033 East Ojai Avenue in Ojai, California. The course occupies a parkland setting in the Ojai Valley, with the Topa Topa Mountains forming part of the surrounding landscape. William F.
Bell designed the original course in 1962. Gil Hanse subsequently led a renovation in 2005, revising the layout while retaining its public-golf character. The course is known for relatively generous fairway corridors and green complexes that reward careful approach play.

The development of Soule Park brought municipal golf to the Ojai Valley during the early 1960s. William F. Bell designed the original course, which opened in 1962.
Bell was already associated with several significant Southern California golf projects, including Torrey Pines and Sandpiper. Soule Park was established as a public facility, giving local residents and visitors access to golf without the membership requirements of a private country club.
Bell's original course used the Ojai Valley setting to create a parkland layout. The present course retains broad playing corridors while placing considerable emphasis on approach-shot positioning and the contours of its greens. These characteristics became important elements in the course's later architectural reputation.
A major architectural change occurred in 2005 when Gil Hanse led a renovation. The project renewed the course's design and playing characteristics while maintaining its municipal status. Hanse subsequently became associated with numerous prominent international projects, including the golf course developed for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Soule Park's architectural reputation received national attention after the Hanse renovation. Golfweek ranked it 48th among United States municipal courses in 2014. In 2021, GOLF Magazine published a feature identifying it as 'The Best Course You've Never Heard Of'.
