Spring City Golf & Lake Resort near Kunming contains two separate international-standard 18-hole golf courses rather than one homogeneous 36-hole layout. The Lakeview Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and follows the shore of Yangzong Lake.
The Mountainview Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and uses the site's rolling inland terrain. The resort states that Spring City was completed in 1998 through a project involving a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore's Keppel Corporation and the Kunming city government. Because Lakeview and Mountainview have separate architecture and course identities, their pars, yardages and scorecards should not be combined into a single synthetic course record.
