Steenberg Golf Club is an 18-hole par-72 course on Steenberg Estate in Cape Town's Constantia Valley. The course officially opened in 1996 and is principally associated with South African architect Peter Matkovich; the club describes it as a Matkovich & Hayes design. Its routing was created around the estate's existing natural and agricultural features, including vineyards, pine woodland and waterways.
Matkovich describes the design approach as listening to the land, with the course using its varied terrain rather than imposing a single visual style. The par-three 14th is particularly unusual for its green, which the club states is 76 metres long and the largest in Africa. Practice infrastructure includes a driving range, putting and chipping facilities, a golf academy and pro shop.

Golf was introduced to Steenberg as part of the modern redevelopment of the historic estate during the 1990s. The golf club officially opened in 1996.
Peter Matkovich's stated approach was to 'listen to the land'. The routing uses vineyards, pine forest, gentle waterways and the existing terrain to create changing strategic and visual conditions. Areas around greens also permit lower running shots, an intentional characteristic highlighted by the club.
The golf course became a central component of the wider Steenberg estate, alongside residential, hospitality and wine operations.
The club notes repeated inclusion in Golf Digest South Africa's Annual Top 100 and a reputation for course conditioning.
Steenberg operates an 18-hole course with a pro shop, golf academy, driving range, putting and chipping facilities, caddies and clubhouse dining.
