Taralga Golf Club is located in New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1985, the club originally featured a 9-hole course with sand greens due to the high cost of regular greens. The course faced challenges, including closure after the September 2001 attacks, but was reopened in June 2006 following community efforts to maintain it as a local asset.
The course has been improved with the help of volunteers and grants, and now includes a clubhouse, BBQ area, machinery shed, raised tees, and signage. Players experience a unique format with metal flagsticks and the use of a spoon for maintaining the sand greens.
On-site facilities include Country Membership.
