Tianma Country Club in Shanghai's Songjiang District is a 27-hole golf facility designed by Pacific Coast Design, with Phil Ryan identified in contemporary Chinese course records. The initial 18 holes opened in 1999 and form a par-72 course measuring approximately 6,409 metres; a third nine was added in 2004 and plays to par 36 over approximately 3,141 metres. Pacific Coast Design describes the original site as flat, flood-prone land that was reshaped into rolling, wooded golf terrain with extensive lakes and views toward the Sheshan area.
The club's official site confirms its address on Zhao Kun Road and provides a dedicated golf-reservation telephone number. Tianma should be treated as a 27-hole complex rather than assigning a single 18-hole par or scorecard to the entire facility. Historical green-fee figures available online are too old to represent current 2026 pricing and have therefore been omitted.
The course is a 27-hole parkland golf course. Designed by Phil Ryan, the course originally opened in 1999. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Driving range, Golf academy, Pro shop, Clubhouse, Restaurant.
The first 18 holes were developed on formerly flat, flood-prone land in Songjiang and opened in 1999.
Pacific Coast Design reshaped the site into gently rolling fairways with substantial lakes and planted woodland, using the nearby Sheshan hills as a backdrop.
A third nine-hole course was added in 2004, expanding Tianma from 18 to 27 holes.
Tianma remains a 27-hole country club with dedicated golf reservations and extensive associated club facilities.
