Sugarloaf Course is the shorter, par-63 executive layout at Valley of the Moon Club (formerly Oakmont Golf Club) in Santa Rosa, California. Designed by Ted Robinson Sr, it opened in 1973 as the East Course, nine years after the longer West Course (now Valley of the Moon Course) on the same Oakmont Drive property. It was designed as a shorter alternative suited to a quicker round.

Ted Robinson Sr designed a second course for the Oakmont Golf Club property, an 18-hole executive layout that opened in 1973 as the East Course. It was built nine years after the regulation West Course and was deliberately shorter, intended as a quicker-to-play alternative on the same site.
The East Course operated under the Oakmont Golf Club name for decades before the property was rebranded as Valley of the Moon Club, at which point the course took its current Sugarloaf name. The former oakmontgc.com website is no longer the active site; current information is published through playvom.com.
Sugarloaf Course remains the shorter, par-63 executive layout at Valley of the Moon Club, open to public play alongside the longer Valley of the Moon Course on the same property. The club publishes separate rates and scorecards for each course and accepts online tee-time reservations.
