The East Course at Vietnam Golf & Country Club is a separate 18-hole, par-72 layout at the club's 36-hole property in Ho Chi Minh City. Six-time major champion Lee Trevino designed the East Course, which opened in September 1997. Published course information gives a maximum length of 6,946 yards.
The East was added after the club's original West Course and differs from it in both architect and design character. The club describes the East as having relatively generous fairways protected by positioned bunkers, water hazards and undulating TifDwarf Bermuda greens. Vietnam Golf & Country Club operates as a semi-private club while accommodating visitor play.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,946 yards. Designed by Lee Trevino, the course originally opened in 1997. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Driving range, Restaurant, Sauna, Clubhouse, Pro shop, Golf carts, Caddies, Villa.
Vietnam Golf & Country Club was established in 1994. After development of its original West Course, the club commissioned Lee Trevino to design a second, distinct 18-hole layout.
Trevino's East Course uses wider landing areas than the West but protects scoring with bunkering, water and undulating TifDwarf Bermuda greens.
The East Course opened in September 1997, completing the club's 36-hole East-and-West configuration.
The club operates as a semi-private 36-hole facility. East and West remain separate courses with different designers and scorecards.
