About Walden Ponds Golf Club

Walden Ponds Golf Club is located in Hamilton, Ohio, United States. It features an 18-hole championship golf course and serves as a wedding venue. The estate was originally built in 1831 by Joseph Hough and later owned by George Rentschler, a German immigrant.

After Rentschler's death, his son, Gordon Soho Rentschler, became the owner and was known as an industrialist and banker in Hamilton. The Walden Ponds Golf Community was inspired by the poem "On Walden Pond" written by Henry David Thoreau.
