Wellshire Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course at 3333 South Colorado Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. A group of golfers commissioned Donald Ross in 1924 to design a course on the 137-acre Skeel family farm about four miles south of Denver. Wellshire Country Club opened on August 28, 1926 with a nine-hole tournament on the holes then completed, and its Tudor-style clubhouse opened the following year.
The City of Denver later acquired the property, and Wellshire now forms part of the Denver Golf municipal system. The course reached its 100th anniversary in 2026. Current published scorecard databases disagree on exact modern tee yardages and ratings, so those values are not promoted here as authoritative.
The course is an 18-hole golf course. Designed by Donald Ross, the course originally opened in 1926. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Putting Green, Short Game Area, Golf Lessons, Golf Carts, Club Hire, Events Center, Pub.
