Yas Acres Golf & Country Club is a floodlit nine-hole, par-36 course on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The course measures approximately 3,700 yards and occupies about 130 acres within the Yas Acres residential development. It was designed by Fry/Straka, the partnership of Dana Fry and Jason Straka, and opened in 2021 after construction began in 2019.
The design is organised around a low ridgeline running through the site, while a lake-and-stream system crosses the property and supports native desert vegetation. The operator identifies water as being in play on four holes. Aldar Properties developed the surrounding Yas Acres community.
The course is a 9-hole desert golf course. It plays to par 36, 3,700 yards. Designed by Jason Straka and Dana Fry, the course originally opened in 2021. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Golf academy, Putting green, Chipping greens, Practice bunkers, Restaurants, Pool, Gym.
Yas Acres was conceived as the golf component of Aldar Properties' wider Yas Acres residential community. Construction of the first nine began in 2019.
Fry/Straka organised the course around a low central ridgeline and an integrated lake-and-stream system. The water system also supports areas of native desert planting.
The nine-hole course opened in 2021 and was designed to operate under floodlights.
Yas Acres operates as a public nine-hole par-36 course within the wider country-club and residential development.
