About Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Arabian Ranches Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 desert-style course in Dubai designed by Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design. The championship layout reaches 7,658 yards from the Black tees, with published course data listing a 76.9 rating and 137 slope for that configuration. Rather than relying on conventional rough, the course's identity is built around sandy waste areas that merge into the surrounding desert terrain and indigenous vegetation.

The official hole guide documents a mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s across the 7,658-yard layout, including a Redan-style seventh hole. The club also has a par-three practice facility and Academy by Troon. Green fees include GPS-equipped cart use, warm-up range balls and first-tee amenities, although the club's public page currently directs players to dynamic booking rates rather than publishing fixed amounts.

The course is an 18-hole desert golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,003m (7,658 yards), course rating 76.9 and slope rating 137. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus Design and Ian Baker-Finch. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Golf academy, Driving range, Par-3 practice facility, Pro shop, Restaurant, Golf carts.

Origins

Arabian Ranches Golf Club was developed as the golf centrepiece of Emaar's Arabian Ranches community in Dubai.

Design Philosophy

Ian Baker-Finch and Nicklaus Design created a course that deliberately uses sandy waste and indigenous desert vegetation as defining playing features. The seventh is explicitly described by the club as a Redan-style par 3.

Today

The club is part of Emaar's Arabian Ranches community and combines an 18-hole championship course with an academy, par-three practice facility, dining and membership operations.
