Trump International Golf Club Dubai's Academy Par 3 Course is a separate nine-hole, all-par-three layout designed by Gil Hanse. The course is floodlit, allowing play into the evening, and uses progressive tee positions so that the same holes can be used by beginners, academy students and more experienced golfers practising their short game. The greens are deliberately contoured and hazards are incorporated to make the course function as more than a simple beginner loop.
It forms part of a larger practice complex at Trump Dubai that includes a golf performance academy, indoor swing studio, double-sided floodlit driving range, chipping facilities and putting greens. The Academy Par 3 must be kept distinct from the club's separate 18-hole championship course, which is also a Gil Hanse design. The club has received World Golf Awards recognition specifically for the Par 3 course, including World's Best Par 3 Golf Course honours in 2021 and 2024.
The course is a 9-hole golf course. The course was designed by Gil Hanse. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Floodlit golf, Golf academy, Driving range, Indoor swing studio, Chipping area, Putting greens, Golf shop, Junior Membership, and 1 more.
Hanse designed the nine-hole layout with contoured greens, hazards and progressive tees so it could serve both developing golfers and experienced players working on short-game skills.
The course received World's Best Par 3 Golf Course honours at the World Golf Awards in both 2021 and 2024.
The Par 3 remains floodlit for day and evening golf and operates as part of the club's academy and practice complex.
