The Earth Course is the flagship of the two Greg Norman-designed championship layouts at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, and has hosted the DP World Tour Championship, the DP World Tour's season finale, since the event began in 2009. The 18-hole course plays to par 72 and reaches 7,706 yards from its longest published tees. Norman drew on established European and North American parkland courses for Earth, giving it a greener, more traditional presentation than its desert-styled neighbour, the Fire Course.
Jumeirah Golf Estates opened in 2009 as a large residential golf development, and its facilities include the Tommy Fleetwood Academy, practice areas, a pro shop and dining. Earth should not be confused with Fire, the estate's other 18-hole Greg Norman layout.

Jumeirah Golf Estates was conceived as a large residential golf development in Dubai, with Greg Norman responsible for the two championship courses that ultimately became Earth and Fire.
Earth was given a manicured parkland-inspired character, while Fire was designed around a more natural desert palette with native grasses and terracotta bunkering. Their contrasting identities are intentional.
The estate operates both championship courses together with the Tommy Fleetwood Academy and associated practice, clubhouse and hospitality facilities.
