The Jack Nicklaus Sea View Course at Bintan Lagoon Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 resort layout on Bintan Island in Indonesia's Riau Islands. Nicklaus Design credits Jack Nicklaus as architect, lists the course at 6,443 metres and records it as opening in 1997. Five tee locations were built to accommodate different playing abilities.
The routing combines inland tropical terrain with holes exposed to the South China Sea. Nicklaus Design specifically identifies the par-three 12th, where coastal wind can significantly affect club selection; the par-four 13th, whose green is divided by a stream; and the 18th, characterised by large bunkers and rolling mounds. The Sea View Course must be kept separate from Bintan Lagoon's other 18-hole course, the Woodlands layout designed by Ian Baker-Finch.

Bintan Lagoon was developed as a major resort complex with two separate championship golf courses. Jack Nicklaus designed the Sea View Course, while Ian Baker-Finch designed the neighbouring Woodlands Course.
Nicklaus used five tee positions to make the course adaptable across a wide range of abilities. The routing combines inland tropical landscape with exposure to the South China Sea, and the design uses sculpted bunkers, water and natural landforms as strategic features.
Nicklaus Design records the Sea View Course as opening in 1997. Regional sources sometimes use 1996, indicating that construction, initial play and formal opening may have straddled the two years.
The current operational position is not sufficiently clear for a definitive status statement. An older specialist directory records a 2020 closure, while more recent Asian golf-tour sources continue to present Bintan Lagoon golf as playable. Current green fees and booking details therefore require direct confirmation.
