Royal Golf Cabo Negro is an 18-hole, par-72 course on Morocco's Mediterranean coast near Tetouan. Morocco's national tourism office states that Hawtree & Sons designed the course in 1976 and that Cabell B. Robinson subsequently revised it to create its present form.
The Moroccan Royal Golf Federation likewise credits both Hawtree & Sons and Robinson. The course occupies ground on the flank of the Rif mountains and incorporates dunes, thick vegetation, water and rolling terrain. The national tourism golf directory publishes a course length of 6,834 metres, although another hospitality source gives 6,528 metres, so the discrepancy should be retained for review.
