The Faldo Course is Emirates Golf Club's second 18-hole championship layout in Dubai. The course originally opened in 1996 as The Wadi, using the Arabic word for valley, and was subsequently redesigned by six-time major champion Nick Faldo before taking his name. Dubai Golf currently lists it as a par-72, 7,052-yard course.
A distinguishing operational feature is night golf, with floodlighting allowing rounds after dark. The layout uses extensive bunkering, water and shaped landing areas characteristic of the Faldo redesign. Green fees vary dynamically through Dubai Golf's booking system rather than being presented as a single fixed public rate on the course page.

The most significant change in the course's history was the Faldo redesign and renaming. Floodlighting also gave the course a distinctive role in Dubai by enabling championship-length night golf.
