The Highlands is an 18-hole, par-71 course at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus created the original course around 1970. Bob Cupp substantially transformed it in 1996, and Bob Lohmann later updated the layout in 2006, including major work on holes 9, 12 and 15.
The current Tournament tees measure 6,659 yards with a 71.5 course rating and slope of 125. Three shorter sets bring the course down to 5,011 yards. Grand Geneva describes the Highlands as Scottish-inspired, combining open ground with rolling glacial terrain, creeks, woodland and strategic short par 4s.

The Highlands was created during the early development of the resort at Lake Geneva, with Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus collaborating on the original layout around 1970.
The present course mixes its original strategic foundation with later redesign work. Short par 4s, rolling glacial land, creeks and changes between open and wooded ground place a premium on positioning rather than raw length.
Bob Cupp transformed the course in 1996. Bob Lohmann carried out another update in 2006, with significant changes to holes 9, 12 and 15.
Golf Digest includes the Highlands among Wisconsin's notable public-access courses and highlights its strategic short par 4s and links-style character.
The Highlands remains one of two established 18-hole championship courses at Grand Geneva, alongside The Brute, and is open to resort guests and public tee-time customers.
