Handara Golf & Resort Bali is an 18-hole mountain golf course in the Bedugul area of Bali. It was established in 1974 by Ibnu Sutowo during the early development of Bali's tourism industry and is identified by the resort as Bali's first golf course. Five-time Open Championship winner Peter Thomson designed the course with Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream.
The property sits at roughly 1,400 metres above sea level, giving it a substantially cooler climate than Bali's coastal resort areas. The golf course is integrated with the resort and remains the central sporting feature of the property.

Ibnu Sutowo developed Handara in 1974 while Bali's tourism industry was still comparatively young. The golf course was conceived as the central attraction of a mountain resort in the Bedugul area.
Peter Thomson worked with Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream on the 18-hole layout, using the highland terrain rather than the tropical coastal setting typical of many later Indonesian resorts.
Handara continues to combine its original golf course with resort accommodation at approximately 1,400 metres elevation.
