Golf Course Architect
Mike Wolveridge is an Australian golf course architect who collaborated extensively with five‑time British Open champion Peter Thomson. Together they formed the design firm that evolved into Thomson, Wolveridge & Associates, later joined by Ross Perrett.
Wolveridge co‑designed significant courses such as Tura Beach Country Club (opened in 1982) and Links Hope Island Golf Club (opened in 1993), transforming challenging, flat or swampy landscapes into celebrated resort‑style links courses. His involvement extended through decades, contributing to work across Australia and Asia under a firm that shaped more than 70 new courses and renovations globally.
