Kooindah Waters Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course at Wyong on the New South Wales Central Coast. Ross Watson designed the course in collaboration with Australian professional Craig Parry, and it opened for play in 2006. The back markers measure 6,083 metres.
The routing was developed across former wetland terrain and uses water, reedy areas, timber-faced bunkers and railway-sleeper details as recurring design features. Watson and Parry created alternative lines on a number of holes so players can choose between safer routes and more ambitious carries. The course is open to public play and is associated with the Mercure Kooindah Waters resort.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,083m (6,653 yards). Designed by Craig Parry and Ross Watson, the course originally opened in 2006. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Putting Green, Short Game Area, Driving Bays, Restaurant, Bar, Locker Rooms, Accommodation, and 8 more.
Kooindah Waters was developed as part of a residential and resort project on former wetland ground at Wyong. The course opened in 2006.
Ross Watson and Craig Parry used the wetland landscape as the central architectural element. Parry's input included widening selected fairways and creating alternatives to forced hero shots, while still allowing aggressive players to challenge carries and hazards.
The course has appeared in Australian national public-access rankings since its early years.
Kooindah Waters operates as a public-access golf club alongside the Mercure Kooindah Waters resort.
