Lakelands Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course at 100 Lakelands Drive in Merrimac on the Gold Coast. It is Jack Nicklaus's first signature course in Australia and the club's own current material dates its opening to 1997. The Black tees extend to 6,489 metres and are rated 74.1 with a slope of 138; the Blue course is 6,142 metres at 72.0/136.
Nicklaus's routing uses substantial bunkering, water and risk-reward decisions rather than relying only on length. The club is open to public play and current public green fees include a shared motorised cart. Facilities include a full-length driving range, putting and chipping areas, short-game practice, PGA-qualified instruction, pro shop, locker rooms and Signatures Restaurant & Bar.
