Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 coastal course at Magenta on the New South Wales Central Coast. Ross Watson designed the course, which opened in 2006 on a site between the Pacific Ocean, Tuggerah Lake and Wyrrabalong National Park. The published championship length is 6,305 metres.
The layout is generally described as a links-style course, using the site's coastal dunes and exposed conditions as important parts of its character. Magenta Shores is a private members' club rather than an unrestricted public course, although limited visitor play is available, including for guests of the adjoining Pullman resort and other eligible visitors. Golf Australia Magazine's 2026 review lists visitor golf at AUD 200 and Pullman Resort guest golf at AUD 140.
The course is an 18-hole links golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,305m. Designed by Ross Watson, the course originally opened in 2006. It is open to members and their guests. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Putting Green, Chipping Green, Warm-up Range, Restaurant, Bar, Locker Rooms, Accommodation.
The course was developed as part of the Magenta Shores coastal residential and resort precinct on the New South Wales Central Coast. The site gave Ross Watson a rare stretch of rolling coastal land between the Pacific Ocean, Tuggerah Lake and the adjoining national park. Watson has described the site as the kind of natural canvas he had waited decades to encounter as a course architect.
Watson's routing uses the naturally rolling terrain and coastal dunes rather than imposing a heavily manufactured inland-style layout. Exposure to coastal weather is an important part of how the course plays, while the routing incorporates the site's dune forms and native surroundings.
Magenta Shores opened in 2006. Subsequent course-management work has included changes to turf and vegetation, including fairway-grass conversion and selective removal of coastal scrub to improve playing corridors and views.
Since opening, Magenta Shores has appeared regularly in Australian national course rankings and has been reviewed repeatedly by Golf Australia Magazine. Golf Digest's course directory lists it among Australia's notable courses.
The club operates as a private members' club with limited outside access. Eligible visitors include invited guests and guests staying at the adjoining Pullman resort, with other limited visitor opportunities also offered.
