Noosa Springs Golf Club is the 18-hole course at Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort on Links Drive in Noosa Heads, Queensland. The resort opened on 9 May 1999 after architect and developer Alan Starkey acquired the 103-hectare former Weyba Ranch property in 1992. Golf-course design is credited by specialist golf references to Graham Papworth.
The Black course measures 6,180 metres and plays to par 72, with a current published slope of 128 and course rating of 72.1. Four tee positions are available per hole. The resort identifies 69 bunkers and 10 freshwater lakes within the golf property, with Lake Weyba adjoining the site.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,180m (6,758 yards), course rating 72.1 and slope rating 128. Designed by Graham Papworth, the course originally opened in 1999. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Chipping green, Practice bunker, Putting green, Golf academy, Golf shop, Club hire, Golf carts, and 7 more.
The property that became Noosa Springs was known during the 1980s as Weyba Ranch, a quarter-horse stud beside Lake Weyba. After the ranch entered receivership, Noosa architect and developer Alan Starkey bought the 103-hectare property in 1992 with plans for a residential development organised around a golf course.
Graham Papworth's course occupies land between Noosa National Park and Lake Weyba. Water was made a recurring structural element: the current resort identifies 10 freshwater lakes and 69 bunkers across the course, while four tee positions per hole allow substantial variation in playing length.
Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort opened on 9 May 1999. During the following two decades the property developed into a broader resort incorporating residential development, accommodation, spa, fitness and expanded dining and event facilities while the golf course matured.
Noosa Springs remains a visitor-accessible resort course with daily public golf, online booking, practice facilities, accommodation and non-golf resort amenities.
