Riverside Oaks Golf Resort on the Hawkesbury River north-west of Sydney contains two separate 18-hole courses, Gangurru and Bungool. The established Gangurru course is a par-72 layout measuring 6,311 metres and has hosted the Australian PGA Championship, Australian TPC and NSW PGA Championship. The second course, Bungool, was designed by Australian golf architect Bob Harrison and opened during the resort's later expansion.
Riverside Oaks was acquired by Nanshan Group in 2009, after which substantial redevelopment took place. The resort accepts public golf bookings and operates a pro shop, instruction and group-golf services. Because Gangurru and Bungool are independent 18-hole layouts, their scorecards, ratings and tee information should remain distinct rather than being combined under a single set of course statistics.
The course is a 36-hole resort golf course. The course was designed by Bob Harrison. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Suite, Pro shop, Golf lessons, Accommodation, Restaurant, Practice facilities, Lodge, Corporate Membership, and 1 more.
The resort was acquired by Nanshan Group in 2009. Its second course, Bungool, was designed by Bob Harrison and opened in the following redevelopment era.
Bungool entered Australian Golf Digest's Top 100 Courses after opening, while Gangurru has long been associated with major Australian professional events.
Riverside Oaks operates the Gangurru and Bungool courses as two separate 18-hole layouts, with public bookings available.
