Golf Course Architect
Bob Harrison is a Sydney‑based golf course architect who began his career following graduation from the University of Sydney with a civil engineering degree. His final‑year thesis on a golf‑residential development for Lendlease led to his first major role managing the relocation and design of Campbelltown Golf Club, effectively launching his design path.
Shortly thereafter he became the lead Asia‑Pacific designer for Greg Norman Golf Course Design from 1988 until around 2009, overseeing prominent projects in Australia and across Asia. After leaving Norman’s firm he established his own practice, Harrison Golf, and continued to design and remodel courses globally, including the remote and acclaimed Ardfin course in Scotland, as well as a range of Australian clubs such as Newcastle, Townsville, Brighton Lakes, and Castle Hill Country Club.
