Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole Greg Norman design at Colebee in western Sydney. The club's current course information lists the layout at par 71, 6,248 metres and slope 134. Opened in August 2012, it became Sydney's first Greg Norman-designed golf course and the successor home of Ashlar Golf Club, whose members relocated when their former Blacktown course closed.
Norman's routing follows Eastern Creek and uses three distinct landscape themes across the property. The club subsequently hosted the NSW Open in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Access is not completely unrestricted: the club advertises open competitions on selected weekdays and Sundays, while Saturdays are reserved for members.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,248m (6,833 yards), slope rating 134. Designed by Greg Norman, the course originally opened in 2012. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Practice Range, Putting Green, Practice Nets, Pro Shop, Restaurant, Café, Bar, Golf Carts.
Stonecutters Ridge grew out of the relocation of Ashlar Golf Club. Ashlar's history stretched back decades in Blacktown, but its old site was exchanged as part of a redevelopment arrangement. In August 2012 the club closed its former course and moved to the newly constructed Greg Norman layout at Colebee, taking the Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club name.
Greg Norman Golf Course Design worked with the natural movement of Eastern Creek and surrounding bushland. The club describes three distinct landscape themes across the routing, while contemporary reporting on the project noted that the natural landforms allowed Norman's team to limit major earthmoving.
The golf course formed part of the wider Stonecutters Ridge residential development. The new club opened in August 2012 and quickly became a tournament venue.
Stonecutters Ridge entered Australian course rankings after opening and hosted three consecutive NSW Opens from 2014 through 2016.
The club operates as an 18-hole course with member play, selected open competitions, practice facilities and a substantial clubhouse.
