About Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort - St Patrick's Links

St Patrick's Links is the newest of Rosapenna's three principal 18-hole links courses and occupies a separate dune property south of the main resort. Rosapenna acquired the former St Patrick's golf property in 2012 and later commissioned Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf to create a new 18-hole course across the site. Doak worked with lead associate Eric Iverson on the design.

The finished course plays to par 71 and approximately 6,930 yards from the back tees. It should not be confused with Rosapenna's Old Tom Morris Links or Sandy Hills Links, each of which has a separate architectural history and scorecard. For the 2026 main season, April 1 through October 18, Rosapenna publishes a standard day-visitor green fee of €350 and a resort-guest rate of €300; a lower Irish-resident rate is also available subject to the resort's conditions.

The course is an 18-hole links golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,930 yards. Designed by Eric Iverson and Tom Doak, the course originally opened in 2021. It is open to resort guests. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Pro shop, Driving range, Putting green, Caddies, Trolley hire, Restaurant, Bar.

Origins

Rosapenna acquired approximately 370 acres associated with the former St Patrick's golf development in 2012, adding a large dune property adjoining its existing golf holdings.

Development

Rather than simply reopening the previous layouts, Rosapenna commissioned Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf to create a new course. Doak and lead associate Eric Iverson used the dune system to form the modern St Patrick's Links, which opened in 2021.

Today

St Patrick's is now one of Rosapenna's three headline 18-hole courses, alongside Old Tom Morris Links and Sandy Hills Links, with separate visitor and resort-guest pricing.
