Tallwoods Country Club at Hallidays Point on the New South Wales Mid North Coast is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by American architect Dr Michael Hurdzan. Hurdzan's own firm identifies Tallwoods as its first international design. The course uses steep and irregular terrain, mature eucalyptus vegetation, elevation changes and water features rather than a flat resort-style routing.
Golf NSW publishes the Black tees at 6,144 metres with scratch rating 73 and slope 141; the Red tees measure 4,856 metres with scratch rating 74 and slope 136. Additional Blue, White and Green distances are published on the same scorecard. Tallwoods was developed as part of a residential golf community and is now open to social golfers.

Tallwoods was conceived as the golf component of a substantial residential development on former cattle-farming land near Hallidays Point. American architect Michael Hurdzan was commissioned to route the course through the property's steep eucalyptus-covered terrain.
Hurdzan used the site's large elevation changes, native vegetation and existing landforms as defining characteristics. Several greens sit in natural amphitheatre-like settings and water influences multiple holes.
The course was created as part of a larger residential community. Its original model was strongly tied to property ownership, but subsequent ownership and operating changes shifted Tallwoods toward broader public and social-golf access.
Tallwoods operates as an 18-hole public-access course with five published tee distances, accommodation and clubhouse food and beverage facilities.
