The Links at Boynton Beach is a City of Boynton Beach municipal golf facility in Palm Beach County, Florida. Its principal layout is an 18-hole, par-71 Championship Course that opened in 1984 and was designed by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin. The current Gold tees measure 6,309 yards with a course rating of 70.9 and slope of 132, while additional tees shorten the course to 5,883, 5,191 and 4,746 yards for men.
The Championship Course uses TifEagle putting greens and is accompanied by a separate nine-hole, par-30 Challenge Course, which should be treated as its own layout rather than combined with the Championship scorecard. The City operates the facility for public play and publishes daily riding rates as well as discounted Loyalty Pass pricing. Practice facilities include a grass-tee driving range, putting green, chipping and bunker practice areas, and instruction from PGA and LPGA professionals.

The modern municipal golf facility dates to the early 1980s. City records from the construction period refer to Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course and identify Von Hagge & Devlin as the golf-course design firm. The facility first opened on June 7, 1984.
Bruce Devlin's own architecture portfolio also lists Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course, including the historic Blue/Red, Red/White and White/Blue combinations associated with its original configuration. The course was created as a publicly operated City golf facility rather than as a private country club.
The current Championship Course is a par-71 municipal layout with multiple tee positions spanning 4,667 yards for the shortest published women's setup to 6,309 yards from the Gold tees. Its scorecard uses five par 3s, three par 5s and ten par 4s. The current course has TifEagle putting greens.
The City also maintains a separate nine-hole Challenge Course designed for shorter play. Because the two layouts have different pars, yardages and scorecards, they are best treated as separate courses within the same municipal facility.
The property's development history extends beyond the original 1984 opening. Federal environmental records concerning a former Boynton Beach municipal landfill immediately east of the existing golf property show that, by 1984, the City intended to close the landfill and ultimately convert the approximately 40-acre site into a nine-hole golf course connected with the municipal facility. The landfill closure design had to satisfy environmental and stormwater requirements while preserving that future recreational use.
The closure plan was approved in 1988 and construction began in 1989. Those records specifically identify Von Hagge & Devlin as the golf-course designer involved in coordinating the planned golf use. The facility today operates an 18-hole Championship Course and a separate nine-hole Challenge Course.
The Links remains owned and operated by the City of Boynton Beach and is open to public play seven days a week, weather permitting. The Championship Course is an 18-hole par-71 layout, while the Challenge Course is a separate nine-hole par-30 executive-length course. Current amenities include a grass-tee driving range, putting green, chipping and bunker practice areas, golf instruction and club fitting by PGA and LPGA professionals, a full-service pro shop and The Links Grill.
The City publishes daily-fee and Loyalty Pass rates and provides an accessible golf cart on request subject to availability.
