The Nicklaus Design Course at Vidanta Riviera Maya is an 18-hole, par-54 executive course at Vidanta Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo. Vidanta lists Jack Nicklaus as the designer and gives a total length of 2,923 yards. Every hole is a par three, but the back tee includes holes exceeding 200 yards, with the published Black scorecard ranging from 103 to 276 yards.
The design uses 28 bunkers, two lakes and natural stone features, with Tifdwarf grass on the greens and Bermuda 419 on the playing areas. Vidanta describes the design concept as drawing on the complexity of classic 1950s courses while working with the tropical site. Facilities include a practice range, short-game area, putting green, pro shop, shoe and club rental, bag storage, parking and the Green Break Restaurant & Bar.

Vidanta describes the design as blending natural and historical influences and paying homage to the complexity of classic 1950s golf architecture. Rather than functioning as a tiny pitch-and-putt, the 18-hole par-three routing stretches to 2,923 yards from the Black tees and uses 28 bunkers, two lakes, natural stone outcroppings and wind as strategic elements.
The golf operation has grown around the course with a practice range, short-game area, putting green, equipment rental, pro shop and Green Break Restaurant & Bar.
The Nicklaus Design Course remains Vidanta Riviera Maya's 18-hole golf course. Guests can arrange tee times through the pro shop or concierge, and outside golf marketing channels also list bookable tee times.
