Vale of Llangollen Golf Club is an 18-hole course beside the River Dee at Llangollen in Denbighshire. The club traces its formation to 1908, although Jack Morris had visited in November 1906 to assess the site's suitability and advise on a proposed course. The first round was played over the original nine holes during Easter 1908; that course measured 2,940 yards.
Vale of Llangollen remained a nine-hole club through the 1950s and 1960s before developing into the present 18-hole facility. The club publishes a modern WHS scorecard with course and slope ratings and accepts visitor bookings through its own website. The property is a conventional full-length course rather than a links layout and is best classified as parkland.

The club was founded in 1908 by local enthusiasts after a search for a suitable site in the valley. Jack Morris had visited Llangollen in November 1906 to assess the land and advise on possible hole layouts. The selected site at Llangollen Fechan lay about a mile from town, and the first round over the 2,940-yard nine-hole course was played at Easter 1908.
For decades the club remained a nine-hole operation. Its own course-policy history records that it was still nine holes through the 1950s and 1960s, before subsequent development produced the present 18-hole course.
Vale of Llangollen now operates as an 18-hole visitor-accessible club with WHS-rated tees and online visitor booking.
