Warren Golf & Country Club operates an 18-hole course at 81 Choa Chu Kang Way in Singapore. The present course was designed by Robin Nelson and Neil Haworth after the club moved from its earlier Folkestone Road site, where Warren had developed from a small military golf course into a nine-hole facility. The Choa Chu Kang layout opened around 2000 and measures 6,234 metres from the back tees, with a par of 71 according to current course references.
It is a parkland-style layout with both tree-lined and more open sections. Warren also maintains substantial practice facilities, including a driving range, putting and chipping areas, alongside a pro shop and other country-club amenities. The golf course underwent a major greens-and-bunkers renovation completed in 2017, including replacement of the greens with TifEagle Bermuda.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,234m (6,818 yards). Designed by Robin Nelson and Neil Haworth, the course originally opened in 2000. It is open to members and their guests. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Green, Pro Shop, Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts.
Warren traces its roots to 1962 and Brigadier Derek Warren of the British 18th Signal Regiment. The club's first golf facility at Folkestone Road began on a very small scale, described in historical accounts as a four-hole course, and later developed into nine holes. As the club expanded, the limitations of that site prompted a long-term relocation project.
The present course was created by Robin Nelson and Neil Haworth. At 6,234 metres from the back tees it is not exceptionally long by modern championship standards, so much of its difficulty comes from positioning, changes of elevation, bunkering and green complexes rather than sheer length. Published descriptions classify the layout as parkland, with a mixture of tree-lined and more open holes.
After roughly a decade of planning and construction, Warren completed its move to Choa Chu Kang around 2000, replacing the old nine-hole course with the present 18-hole layout. By 2017 the greens and bunkers required substantial renewal. A year-long project removed invading local grasses from the putting surfaces, introduced TifEagle Bermuda and upgraded bunker areas while retaining the established routing.
Warren remains a private golf and country club at 81 Choa Chu Kang Way, with an 18-hole course, driving range, short-game practice areas and extensive non-golf facilities. Singapore's land-use plans announced in 2025 state that the Warren course's land tenure will not be renewed after 2030.
