Wrexham Golf Club is an 18-hole course on Holt Road in Wrexham. Although the club itself was founded on March 14, 1906, its history spans several different sites and configurations. The present 18-hole Borras course was formally opened on October 21, 1950, after post-war planning secured enough adjoining land to reconstruct a full course.
The club's historical account records a later course length of 6,233 yards. Wrexham's lineage includes earlier nine-hole courses at Gresford, Gwersyllt and Stansty, an 18-hole Borras course from 1923, and a wartime reduction to nine holes before the current course was completed. The club has staged significant women's championships, including the British Girls Championship in 1980 and British Ladies Senior Championship in 1989.

Wrexham Golf Club was founded on March 14, 1906, but its lineage reaches back through Gwersyllt Park Golf Club to Gresford Golf Club. Golf was played at Gresford from 1902 before subsequent moves and course changes.
The club played at Stansty from 1906 to 1923 before establishing an 18-hole course at Borras. Wartime circumstances reduced Borras to nine holes in 1941. Planning for a restored 18-hole course began after the war, and the present course was formally opened by club captain Tommy Mottram on October 21, 1950.
The club later hosted the British Girls Championship in 1980 and British Ladies Senior Championship in 1989.
Wrexham remains an 18-hole club on Holt Road, continuing the Borras-era course established in its present form in 1950.
