The Padre Course is one of two 18-hole courses at Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale. Camelback's official site describes Padre as a 6,903-yard, par-72 course designed by Arthur Hills, with mature trees, bunkering, elevation changes and several lakes. Current scorecard data produces a slightly different Black-tee total of 6,868 yards, with a 72.2 course rating and 130 slope; that discrepancy should be retained rather than silently reconciled.
The course dates to 1966, although its design history includes later work and sources also associate Jack Snyder with the property. Padre's 18th has received specific recognition from Arizona Golf Magazine as a notable water hole. Camelback Golf Club operates Padre alongside the separate Ambiente Course, so Ambiente scorecard and architect data should not be merged into this entry.
