PGA Riviera Maya's Executive Course is the separate nine-hole par-3 layout at Tulum Country Club in Quintana Roo. The current PGA Riviera Maya website calls it the Par 3 Course, while earlier official material uses the Executive Course name. Robert Trent Jones II and his design team created both this course and the property's separate 18-hole Championship Course.
The executive layout consists entirely of par-3 holes, making it a par 27, and is integrated into the same landscape of Mayan jungle, natural lakes and cenotes used by the larger golf complex. The official site documents individual holes; for example, the first is 133 yards, the second 184 yards and the fifth 196 yards. PGA Riviera Maya became the PGA of America's first facility partner in Latin America following an alliance announced in 2020.
The course is a 9-hole golf course. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include PGA Golf Academy, Clubhouse, Golf shop, Equipment rental, Driving range.
The executive layout was developed as the shorter companion to the property's 18-hole championship course. Both were designed by the Robert Trent Jones II team as part of the golf development now incorporated into Tulum Country Club.
All nine holes are par 3s. The routing uses the same Mayan-jungle environment, natural lakes and cenote landscape that characterises the broader PGA Riviera Maya property while concentrating play into short-game and approach-shot challenges.
The golf operation was formerly known as Riviera Maya Golf Club/Bahia Principe Golf. In 2020 the PGA of America announced a strategic alliance with Bahia Principe, its first facility partnership in Latin America, and the property subsequently adopted PGA Riviera Maya branding.
The official site now describes the layout as the Par 3 Course. It remains physically and operationally separate from the 18-hole Championship Course and should retain its own database record.
