Salgados Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course on flat coastal ground near Salgados Beach and the Salgados Lagoon west of Albufeira. The course dates to 1994 and the design is associated with Portuguese architect Pedro de Vasconcelos, with Robert Muir Graves contributing to the final layout. Historical published measurements give 6,080 metres from the white markers.
Water is a defining component of the routing because the holes occupy low-lying ground around a network of lakes beside the lagoon. The club underwent a significant recent renovation that was recognised as World's Best Golf Course Renovation at the 2025 World Golf Awards. Current facilities include a driving range, putting and short-game areas, golf shop, restaurant and bar.
