Corinthia Golf Club, now also branded by Corinthia Hotels as Gewan Golf Club, is a fully floodlit nine-hole par-three course on Gewan Island near Doha. The dedicated club website describes it as a pay-and-play facility open to golfers, friends and families. Its nine holes total approximately 820 yards from the published individual-hole measurements, with holes ranging from 49 to 140 yards in the club's formal course table.
The course occupies about six hectares and incorporates lakes and bunkering. Clubhouse facilities include a boutique golf shop, changing and locker facilities, a café with a Majlis and a rooftop area. The currently published standard green fee is QAR150 per person for nine holes including a trolley, while club rental with trolley is QAR100.
The course is a 9-hole golf course. It plays to par 27, 747m (820 yards). It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Floodlit golf course, Golf shop, Locker rooms, Changing rooms, Cafe, Majlis, Rooftop garden, Club rental, and 1 more.
The golf course forms part of the wider Gewan Island development by United Development Company. Plans for the island included a Corinthia-managed hotel, beach club and golf facility, with the course occupying approximately six hectares of the new island development.
The course was conceived as a compact, accessible nine-hole par-three facility rather than a championship-length layout. It is fully floodlit and incorporates lakes, bunkering and holes of varying short-game lengths, allowing play outside daylight hours and making the facility suitable for both newer and experienced golfers.
The golf club became operational ahead of the associated hotel. Branding has subsequently evolved: the dedicated facility continues to identify itself as Corinthia Golf Club, while Corinthia Hotels currently uses the name Gewan Golf Club. Corinthia's latest hotel material lists the hotel itself as opening in 2027.
The course currently operates as a public pay-and-play nine-hole facility. The clubhouse includes a golf shop, changing facilities, café, Majlis and rooftop area, and the club publishes both golf and equipment-hire pricing.
