Kenmare Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course on Killowen Road beside Kenmare Bay. The club dates to 1903, when a nine-hole course laid out by David Browne of Cork Golf Club was established on land leased from the Lansdowne Estate. A major development programme in the 1990s acquired additional land and Eddie Hackett designed the expanded 18-hole course.
The current Blue course measures 6,086 yards and plays to par 71, while the White and Yellow configurations play to par 70 and the Red course to par 71. The routing contains four par threes from the Blue tees and uses existing trees, limestone outcrops, water and the ground beside Kenmare Bay. The official course guide documents individual hole names including Carraig a Tee, The Railway, The Well (An Tobar), The Sea Wall, Stephen's Window and Reenagross.

On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Bar, Restaurant, Full Membership, Junior Membership, Family Membership, Country Membership, Intermediate Membership, and 1 more.
The club traces its beginnings to July 1903. Percy Joy was a principal driving force in its formation, and land was obtained from the Lansdowne Estate for a nine-hole course close to the Southern Hotel. Historical records credit David Browne of Cork Golf Club with laying out that original course.
The present course combines the older Kenmare ground with the expansion designed by Eddie Hackett. The routing uses existing parkland, limestone features, mature vegetation and the edge of Kenmare Bay rather than adopting the character of a true links.
Kenmare remained a nine-hole course for most of the twentieth century. In 1993 the club embarked on a development plan that included purchasing about 50 acres north of Killowen Road and expanding to 18 holes with Eddie Hackett as architect. A separate major change came after the clubhouse fire of June 2020.
Construction of a replacement began in 2021, a soft opening followed in May 2022 and the new clubhouse was formally opened on 7 August 2022.
The club's long-running Three Brothers Classic dates to 1978 and developed into an international event drawing family teams from Ireland, Europe and the United States.
Kenmare remains a members' club that actively welcomes visitors. The current course offers four principal tee configurations, online tee booking and a clubhouse with bar and restaurant facilities.
