Mahony's Point is one of the two 18-hole courses at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, laid out beside the Killarney Lakes beneath the McGillycuddy Reeks. The official hole-by-hole guide shows a par-72 routing with four published playing distances on every hole. The closing sequence runs toward the lake, culminating in the par-three 18th.
The course mixes par fours with four par threes and four par fives, and water enters play at several points, including the approach to the sixth and across the 13th and 16th. The club provides public visitor booking. Mahony's Point is separate from the club's Killeen Course and should be maintained as its own layout in the directory.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Pro Shop, Restaurant, Practice Facilities, Bar, Function Room.
The routing uses the lakeside setting and existing watercourses as strategic features, with the final holes moving toward the water. Official hole descriptions document doglegs, streams, bunkering and changes in green depth throughout the course.
Mahony's Point operates as one of Killarney Golf & Fishing Club's two 18-hole courses and is available to visiting golfers.
