White Witch Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 course on the historic Rose Hall property near Montego Bay. Rose Hall's current official material gives a length of 6,758 yards and credits Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril with the design. The course opened in 2000 and occupies rolling, elevated terrain within the former plantation property.
Its name refers to the legend of Annee Palmer, popularly known as the White Witch of Rose Hall. White Witch and Cinnamon Hill are separate golf courses but are jointly marketed as Rose Hall Golf and are both owned by Rose Hall (Developments) Limited. White Witch now operates seasonally: Rose Hall states that it closes every April 30 and reopens November 1.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,758 yards. Designed by Rick Baril and Robert Von Hagge, the course originally opened in 2000. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro shop, Club rental, Caddie service, Golf carts.
The course was developed on the historic Rose Hall property and opened in 2000. Its name was taken from the long-running legend surrounding Annee Palmer, the so-called White Witch of Rose Hall.
The routing occupies elevated and strongly contoured terrain. Rose Hall describes it as extending across 6,758 yards, while contemporary descriptions emphasize the changes in elevation and extensive views across the property and toward the Caribbean.
White Witch became part of the paired Rose Hall Golf offering alongside Cinnamon Hill. Rose Hall (Developments) Limited owns both courses. The operating model has subsequently changed: White Witch is now seasonal, closing after April 30 and reopening November 1 each year.
Rose Hall cites Condé Nast Traveler recognition for the course and its golf-shop staff. The course has also been repeatedly included in Caribbean golf coverage since its opening.
White Witch remains a distinct 18-hole, par-71 Rose Hall course. Caddies are mandatory at White Witch, and tee times can be booked through its dedicated Rose Hall booking page. On 20 September 2026 the course is within its published annual seasonal closure period.
